Dangerous dogs
Editor;
KOTO advocates humans to walk elsewhere from where dogs may be in a
dangerous mood. Gary, a neighbor’s dog mauled the woman and tore up her
face. Should she leave her house? This is unacceptable. The Bible does say
that “man has dominion over the animals” and should protect them and remove
those who would kill a baby or in this case, permanently scar the woman.
This same dog bit my neighbor across the street (Soi 10) and he had to
undergo shots.

Dengue Fever here? Who is responsible for this area Nongprue Municipality?
Fah
Mi
Aad Kan Village just off Siam Country Club Road Soi 13.
What you see isn’t from the recent rain. This is what this soi has looked
like for several months now. It started with drain pipe after drain pipe
breaking; approximately 9 times. They try but without success so they just
let it sit. The system in this area near this soi is falling apart. It’s
flooded with water, and the area seem to be a war zone with everything
breaking including the road they just paved. The drain pipe they also
replace was 5 times smaller than the original so even when there isn’t a
broken pipe the water can’t drain from the heavy rain fast enough so the
water just sits for days. The road will soon collapse from the weight of the
water. When the rain stops the weather gets hotter. I believe this area is a
breeding ground for Dengue Fever?
Who is responsible and when will it be fixed?

Disappointed
Editor;
I know this is Thailand and things are different here but I was disappointed
when I read your paper yesterday. I am talking about the short story about
repainting the lines on Third road. I guess the excuse for the person who
wrote that story is that he just wrote what this Mr. Pinyasinee was telling
him but I still found the story to be racist. Saying he thought that “Thai”
drivers would respect the lines ... My feeling is that Thai drivers are
amongst the worst I have ever met and I have been to 45 countries so far.
Pattaya is also worse than Bangkok when it comes to traffic. I got angry
when reading that story and just wanted to let you know that it will be the
last time I buy your paper.

Ed’s reply: Sorry you feel this way, Nikko, but for the life of me I can’t
figure out what you’re talking about. The whole point of the story was that
the “Thai” drivers (as well as all other drivers) were not obeying the rules
of the intersection, and maybe by repainting the lines they would start
doing so. If you decide not to buy the paper again, that is of course your
right. But one would hope that if this is your decision, you’d make it based
on something with a little more substance than a non-existent slight to
foreigners that you are wrongly calling racist.
