A Joint BCCT/AustCham/AmCham Eastern Seaboard Networking Evening will
be held on Friday, November 16 at the Nova Platinum hotel in south Pattaya.

The Queen’s Cup St. Regis ‘Pink Polo’ tournament will be held at the Thai
Polo and Equestrian Club in Pattaya on Saturday, November 17. Top female
players from around the country will compete on horseback for the 2012

against breast cancer. There will be a variety of activities for the whole
family to enjoy including pony rides for kids, a horseback fashion show, and

Teams of rowers from around SE Asia will be competing against each other in
the colourful and spectacular Indo China Long Boat Racing event to be staged

Northern Soul Night’s first birthday party will be held on Saturday,
November 24 at the Boomerang Bar on Soi Arunothai in central Pattaya,

The 2012 Ploenchit Fair will be held at Bangkok International School on
Saturday, November 24 from 10.00am - 9.00pm. This charity fundraising
event is a family fun day, based on an English fairground, as well as
offering all day international food and beverage and stage entertainment.
Donations are currently being sought for goods or promotional materials to
be used in the central pool for the over 150+ stalls. All donations will be
receipted and all donors listed in our programme. This year will mark 55
years of assistance given to Thai charities so if you have any items to

The annual Pattaya Cross Bay swim for charity will be held on Sunday
November 25. The three swim categories include race distances of 600 meters,

The Regent’s School Christmas Fair returns after a twelve year absence on

Clubs and Associations
The next Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) meeting will be on Sunday, Nov.
18. Everyone is warmly welcome. The speaker will be the Head of the
International Marketing Department, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, Neil Maniquiz,
speaking about medical tourism in Thailand. The Club meets every Sunday
morning at the Tavern by the Sea restaurant located on the north end of
Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort). The program starts as usual at

The Pattaya International Ladies Club (PILC) organizes regular lunches and

For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand have been providing
confidential crisis intervention services over the telephone. The
English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates 24 hours a day,
7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate community.
English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will provide active,
non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the phone. All calls
