David Cumming (2nd right), Area General Manager of Amari,
congratulates Walaiporn Chamnan and Stephen Alexander, the lucky winners of
the Amari Orchid Pattaya Win a Wedding competition. The combined value of

Pierre Andre Pelletier (2nd from right), General Manager
of the Amari Watergate Bangkok, hosted the “Guggitaler’s Get-Together Party
#281" recently. The fun event was attended by Swiss executives of the
tourism and the hotel business in Thailand. Notable attendees included Luzi
Matzig (3rd right) founder of Asian Trails.
The management of Dusit Thani Pattaya, led by
Resident Manager Neoh Kean Boon (4th right), held a meeting with officials
of Pentangle Promotions, headed by managing director Geoffrey Rowe (centre),
to discuss preparations for the 2013 PTT Pattaya Open. The 22nd annual
tournament will be held from 27 January until 3 February 2013. The PTT
Pattaya Open 2013 will be graced by highly-respected tennis stars such as
Vera Zvonareva and Ana Ivanovic. It is part of the WTA Tour for professional
women tennis players of international rankings, and is equivalent to an ATP
World Tour 250 series event.

It was a time for celebrations as a huge cheque amounting to 32,800 baht was
presented to Praichit Jetpai (centre), Chairwoman of the Y.W.C.A. Bangkok
Pattaya Center. The funds were raised at the Schubertiade Charity Concert
held at the Hard Rock Hotel recently. The event was hosted by Hard Rock
Hotel Pattaya together with Pattaya Mail Media Group, New Frontier Music
Academy and BBX. On hand to make the presentation were Patrick Ng, Executive
Assistant Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, Tony Malhotra (2nd right),
Assistant Managing Director of Pattaya Mail Media Group, and Laurie Muir
(3rd right), International Business Development Manager of BBX.
