Dr. Jrgen Koppelin (centre), Member of Parliament of the Republic of
Germany took a short break from his hectic visits to Thailand and the
neighbouring countries to spend a few days of rest and recreation at the
Thai Garden Resortt recently. He was welcomed by Gerrit Niehaus
(right), proprietor of the resort, and interviewed for PMTV by Elfi
Seitz (left), executive editor of the Pattaya Blatt.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra (centre) spent a few
days vacationing at the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya
recently where she was welcomed by Wuthisak Pichayagan (left), Executive
Assistant Manager for Food and Beverage and George Kenton (right), Executive
Assistant Manager for Rooms.
H.E. Chuan Leekpai, former Prime Minister of Thailand
presided over the opening ceremony of an art exhibition titled “Artistic
inheritance on inspirational Dharma” by the Sense of Art Group at the
Amari Watergate Bangkok. Proceeds of the exhibition will be donated to
Ruampanya Person Lame Association. (L to R) Yuthana Pongpasuk, artist,

The Community Fund of Eastern Seaboard Environmental
Complex (ESBEC) and Waste Management Siam Ltd. (WMS) donated
sixty scholarships totaling 120,000 baht to help local students from 6
primary and secondary schools. The ceremony was attended by Wichai
Samphantharat, Sriracha District Chief Officer on behalf of community fund,
Kiyoshi Ishizu, President and Dr. Hiroyuki Ito, Managing Director together
with the fund committee and community leaders.
