The Pattaya International Ladies Club (PILC) annual Christmas Bazaar will be held on Sunday, November 17 at the Holiday Inn Pattaya. The Bazaar will feature vendors from all over Thailand, many of whom do not sell their wares in mainstream shops, giving buyers a chance to find goods that are not available elsewhere. For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the phone. Estes Post 9876 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States of America is a social group in Pattaya that helps American Veterans and their dependants with benefit assistance related to the Veterans Administration, Social Security and service related agencies.
