(Top) Panga Vathanakul welcomes HRH Princess Maha Chakri
Sirindhorn who graciously presided over the opening ceremonies of the Prince
Mahidol Award International Conference held at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group
recently. Over 700 delegates, including leading public health leaders and
stakeholders from around the world, attended the conference to discuss high
priority global health issues, summarize findings and propose concrete

Nine dragons and the Beijing Lion Show were featured at
the Chinese New Year celebrations at the Mike Shopping Mall. The
celebrations were organised by Mae Santhana Mekavarakul (2nd right),
President of the Mike Group and Surat Mekavarakul (2nd left), chairman of
Banglamung Cultural Chamber.
Chinese New Year was also celebrated at the Centara
Grand Mirage Beach Resort with much fanfare. Guests were greeted by
dragons and lions, and Chinese dancers whose performances are meant to bring
good luck to both visitors and residents alike. (l-r) Narongsak Jitrayon,

The Central Group of Companies, led by Prin
Chirathivat, Executive Director - CFO, and Air Force Central Football Club
president ACM Anon Jarayaphan congratulate each other after signing a
three-year contract to support Air Force Central FC. The event was held at

In celebration of their beloved daughter Yuwathida (Jan)
Jirapat’s birthday, Santi Jirapat led his family and the management team of
the Trio J Pattaya and B Lucky to make merit at the Baan
Karunyawet Home for the Disabled where they provided lunch for the 200
residents. The guests also donated amenities and medicine including
financial assistance to the home. Jan (seated far left) is currently serving
as Pattaya City’s spokesperson.

Chatchawal Supachayanont, GM of the Dusit Thani
Pattaya proudly leads his team to celebrate the success of their first
fundraising campaign for 2014 to help children and young adults born with
facial deformities through the ‘Dusit Smiles for Operation Smiles’. In 2013,
Dusit Thani Pattaya collected over 135,000 baht through various activities
and donations. Another 32,000 baht was raised at the start of this year from
the sale of green and white polo shirts to mark the hotel’s 26th anniversary
in December. The money raised will benefit the less fortunate children who
need corrective surgery for their facial deformities.
