Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome was guest of honour at the wedding ceremony and celebrations of Mujibur Rahman & Yaronah Jamsawang at the A-One Hotel Pattaya recently.

Striving for safety awareness, the Amari Pattaya launched the ‘Fire Safety Campaign 2014’ throughout the month of July. Ekachai Chucheepchai, Director of Engineering for Amari Pattaya, together with the hotel’s staff was given training on fire prevention and the usage of equipment to fight fires in case of emergencies. Later in the month, with the support of the Pattaya Fire Station, the hotel’s employees will train on high-rise buildings situations.

The Pattaya Court celebrated their 15th anniversary of service recently. Police Colonel Supatee Boonkrong (3rd left), Deputy Commander of Chonburi led a team of police officers to offer their congratulations to Chief Judge Apichart Thepnoo (4th right). Members of the court and local business leaders, including Surat Mekavarakul (3rd right), MD of Mike’s Group were also present.

The Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya was abuzz with pride recently as two of their pastry chefs earned accolades at the Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge 2014. Jamnong Sesathit (left), Demi Chef earned a gold medal in the “4 Different Individually Western Plated Desserts” category, and Lerdpong Changlek (right), Commis III earned a silver medal in the “Petits Fours and Pralines” category.

For the third consecutive year, the Thai Garden Resort on North Pattaya Road received the prestigious Zoover Award. www.zoover.nl is the largest Dutch language on-line opinion forum where guests can comment on their vacation, cruise, hotel or accommodation, and can recommend their favorites to others. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Mike’s Department Store, Surat Mekavarakul (3rd right) and his family held a merit making ceremony at their premises recently. Staff were encouraged to donate blood to the Thai Red Cross Society.
