At the Happy Workplace Forum organized by the Federation
of Thai Industries, Chonburi Chapter held at the Tide Resort Chonburi
recently, Dr. Chanwit Wasabthanarat presented an award to Ms. Jidanun
Sripatcharapas, Manager of Human Resources of the Dusit Thani Pattaya in
recognition for their endeavor to create a happy workplace conducive to the
employees’ healthy and positive state of mind, thereby enjoying a pleasant
environment while being productive.
Brendan ‘one eyed pirate’ Daly (centre), GM of the
Amari Pattaya was chief guest at the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean Night’
themed corporate thank you party. The Amari Pattaya thanked their loyal
corporate partners who have been supportive throughout 2013 and 2014.
Attendees enjoyed performances including a close up magic show and a
spectacular dance performance. There were prizes for the best male and
female costumes as well as many lucky draw prizes including accommodation
vouchers and much more.

Well know actor Niti “Job” Samutkojorn and his family
were warmly welcomed by Andre Brulhart, General Manager of Centara Grand
Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya recently where the children enjoyed the
afternoon at the Kid’s Club Camp Safari.
To commemorate the auspicious occasion of HM the Queen’s
birthday, members of the Lions Club of Taksin and the Leo Club donated blood to
the Thai Red Cross Society at the Royal Garden Plaza recently. Chaired by Mayor
Itthipol Khunplome, other dignitaries included City Councilor Banjong
Bantoonprayuk, Chayapa Wuthisanwaraporn, President of the Lions Club Taksin and
Praichit Jetapai, President of the YWCA Bangkok- Pattaya. Students from Pattaya
School No. 11 also joined in to sings of praise and loyalty to HM the Queen.

Expats Club celebrated his 67th birthday at his residence recently. Many
old and new friends from the community and members of the PCEC attended this
happy occasion. Amongst the myriad of guests were (l-r) Monthree Bubphakin,
Hal Carpenter, Sheldon Shaeffer, David Garmaies, Roy Albiston and Judith
Edmonds.
