The management of the Montien Hotel, Pattaya, organised a surprise birthday party for Andrew Low (centre), GM of the hotel.

Once a year the Amari Orchid Resort welcomes Mr & Mrs Evans from England. General Manager Pierre-Andre Pelletier welcomed the couple, who have been regular guests at the resort for the past ten years.

Foster Wheeler Director, SE Asia Operations, Steve Davies, presents a cheque to the Foster Wheeler Ladies Club at their recent coffee morning, The generous donation will further their support of the Eastern Child Welfare Protection Institution (Hueypong) at MapTaPhut, and other causes. A portion of the donation will be given to a scholarship fund being set up for ECWPI children by interested groups to enable talented teenagers to have access to further education which would not be available without such outside support. The FWLC’s usual support for Hueypong will continue by donations of goods benefiting all the children, and they will also be considering other needy causes.

New appointment:

Mr. Rudi Fischer (pic. right) has been appointed Vice President-Sales of Bangkok Airways. Working in the airline business for the past 21 years, he is a graduate from Haigazian College, Lebanon. Mr. Fisher, 44, used to work with Air India, Air Lanka Ltd., Federal Express and British Midland Airways.
