Beautiful Larn Island - However, residents are complaining that Pattaya City Hall has been making "Paper Tiger" responses to key issues brought up by residents on the island. Suchad Khobjai, Chairman of Larn Island Community, has said that the Pattaya administration and other responsible agencies are talking about, but not acting on problem areas such as the water drainage system, the lack of control of jet skis, organizing and controlling the island’s 172 watercraft, controlling the hawkers and peddlers on the beaches, and the problem of crime and drugs, as well as moving floats (pictured above) into place at the end of docks to receive tourists.
