For the American Football fans the Tequila Reef Cantina and Mexican Grill will hold replays of the NFL every Monday and Tuesday afternoon from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. along with afternoon specials - buy a frozen margarita or daiquiri and get one free. Tequila Reef Cantina and Mexican Grill is located on Soi 7, 30 meters off the beach.

The Grand Opening of S B I Superstar Action Karaoke, formerly Sing A Song Karaoke, takes place on the 9th on November 8 p.m. till 10 p.m. for VIP Guests and from 10:00 till 2:00 a.m. open to all guests. The Day Night Disco will hold their Grand Opening on Saturday, November 10 at 9 p.m. The Day Night Disco is Pattaya’s first Gay Disco located inside the west wing of the Day Night Hotel. Events

On Friday 9th November Shenanigans Pattaya will be hosting the British Chamber of Commerce Pub Night of Networking for the Eastern Seaboard. Sponsored by Berger, all you need is your business card for free ale and finger style buffet. The evening commences at 6.30 p.m.

The Pattaya Gay Festival continues in its successful drive to raise funds for Heartt 2000 and the Naklua Drug Rehabilitation Center. To date the PGF has raised Baht 2.25 million. The next Pattaya Gay Festival Event will be the Mr. Pattaya Gay Festival Contest to take place at the Icon Showbar, Thappraya Rd. on Saturday November 17, from 10 p.m. Entrance is baht 250 including one free drink. For those interested in sponsoring or entering as a contestant the fee is 500 baht per contestant with prizes of baht 15,000 for 1st place, 10,000 baht 2nd place and 5,000 baht for 3rd place. There will also be a Mr. Popular competition with prizes of 10,000 baht for 1st and 3,000 for 2nd

Sports

Fight Night Entertainment will be holding a ‘Tough Man’ Tournament on Thursday November 15. The evening starts at 9 p.m. and will feature Karate, Boxing, Kung Fu and Muay Thai Boxing with a winner takes all prize of 25,000 baht. Later in the evening they will donate money raised from the night to the Pattaya Orphanage. Shenanigans Pattaya is forming a Pool Team to play other bars from both Bangkok, Pattaya, Bang Chang, etc. All interested parties please contact Kim Fletcher or Iain Corness at Shenanigans 2nd Road, Pattaya.

Blue Lagoon Watersports Club will hold a trial and demo week November 13 to 22 and a display day on November 17th with kite sailing, kayaking and windsurfing. Everyone is welcome to come and try windsurfing and kayaking at the BLWC for 1 hour, plus, for a limited time only, memberships to the club for 1/2 price (only 500 for 1 year). The Bangkok International Softball League (BISL) is pleased to announce that the 9th Annual Bangkok International Softball Tournament will be held November 16-18. The tournament will feature 16 teams and over 250 athletes with two trophies to be awarded the winners: the Grand Championship trophy and the Governor’s Cup. The 2001 tournament will be held at the Queen Sirikit 60th Anniversary Stadium located next to the Rajmangkala Institute at Klong 6, about km 13, on the Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road, Hwy 305.
