Clubs

The Pattaya International Ladies Club (PILC) is having their Christmas Luncheon on Tuesday November 27 at the Royal Cliff Grand. The event will be held in the Orchid Rooms A & B and will commence at 10 a.m. and go through till 2 p.m. The organizing committee has said to be prepared for some surprises! The Sportsman, Soi 13, has finished renovations and has now re-opened. Looking for a Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner? You’ll be happy to know that Cafe New Orleans, Pattaya’s only authentic American restaurant will offer a sumptuous roast, stuffed turkey or glazed ham with all the trimmings on Thanksgiving Day, and will continue on till Sunday, November 25th. On Friday 23rd November, the rock band “flow” will start their nationwide tour at Shenanigans Pattaya next to the Royal Garden Plaza on Second Road, “flow” will be on stage at 10.00 p.m. Every Sunday free chilli con carne and rice with every drink from 4.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m.

The Green House Center Point Pub presents the Philippine show band ‘High Energy’ nightly from 9 p.m. (except Monday). Daytime special with Happy Hour all day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Restaurant also open for the hungry from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Tequila Reef Cantina and Mexican Grill is now having Taco Tuesday, with 25 baht tacos and 2 for 1 margaritas and daiquiris between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. along with replays of NFL football. Tequila Reef Cantina and Mexican Grill is located on Soi 7, 30 meters off the beach.

Events

The annual Family Fun Fest and Garage sale held at Phu Luang with assistance of the Rayong Ladies Circle will take place on Sunday, December 2. There will be a wide range of vendors, a baked goods stall, performances by local schools and lots of fun events for the children. Phu Luang is located 3.5 km north of Green Valley Estate, Route 3376 Banchang – Makham Koo Road, Rayong.

The Pattaya Gay Festival continues in its successful drive to raise funds for Heartt 2000 and the Naklua Drug Rehabilitation Center. To date the PGF has raised baht 2.25 million. The next Pattaya Gay Festival Event will be the Miss Pattaya Gay Festival Contest to take place at the Day-Night Disco, next to the Day-Night Hotel, on Saturday November 24, from 10:00 p.m. Entrance is 250 baht including one free drink. For those interested in sponsoring or entering as a contestant the fee is 500 baht per contestant with prizes of 15,000 baht for 1st place, 10,000 baht 2nd place and 5,000 baht for 3rd place. There will also be a Mr. Popular competition with prizes of 10,000 baht for 1st and 3,000 for 2nd.

The Mermaid’s Dive Center will hold their 8th annual Treasure Hunt on November 24th and 25th at “The Mystery Spot” located somewhere west of Pattaya and east of Cambodia.
