From the “Land of the Rising Sun”, well-to-do businessman Amano Thakechi fell head over heels for a flower from the north, Miss Sawanee Chanmonee, and a traditional Thai marriage ceremony took place November 5 at Pattaya Town in Town Hotel. Guests of honor included Pattaya mayor Pairat Suttithamrongsawat, and Ministry of Science advisor Chanyut Hengtrakul.

Mr. Jack, the managing director at Hanky Panky Toys, arranged a staff party at the Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel to reward the fine work produced by employees at the main toy plant in Pattaya. Over 200 people attended the party and were entertained by magic performed by Philip and Michael, a famous team of artists conjuring up mystifying feats of magic and illusion.
