EXEL’s managing director, South Asia presided over the opening of the ‘Asia
Pacific Sea Freight Conference’ with David Gold, Volker Bloeck and Alan
Boylan at the Vanda Room of the Montien Hotel Pattaya.

general manager of Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum Pattaya, donated
funds raised be the museum to Sister Joan Gormley (3rd
left) from the Fountain of Life Center, to help underprivileged children in
Pattaya. Woody Underwood (back) and Alice Poulsen (right) were also present at
the ceremony.
Mrs. Ingeborg Klinkmueller celebrated her 70th birthday at
the Captain’s Corner pool terrace. Her son, long time resident and journalist
in Pattaya and his girlfriend Buaphan along with scores of friends feted her.
This is Mrs. Klinkmueller’s fourth holiday at the seaside resort where she
enjoys swimming, shopping, dining and talking with all her newfound friends.
Bernie Tuppin (Pattaya Sports
Club charity chairman) presented Sister Joan with a cheque for
50,000 baht for the Fountain of Life Center on Soi Regent
Marina on Wednesday December 12. The cheque was donated by a PSC
member who wishes to remain anonymous. Also present at the
presentation (but not shown) were committee members George Bennison
and Middy Campbell.
Chonburi
council member and chairman of the Pattaya media association,
Thonglo Amphueng, congratulated Cpt. Samit Yomasamit, the director
of X-Zyte Entertainment, on the opening of a new beer garden
located next door on Pattaya 3rd Road. Also pictured receiving the
bouquet of flowers is Preecha Sanguansak, the beer garden pro of
Pattaya.

expat Nigel Loades and his bride Kanjana Tiebsantia recently took
their wedding vows in front of family and friends around the pool at
the Diana Inn Hotel on Second Road. The ceremonies were
presided over by Pattaya’s own Pastor Fred Doell from the Victory
Family Church, who performed the ceremony as family from both the
bride and groom’s side witnessing the occasion.
