Amari Orchid Resort hosts the children from Pattaya for Lunch

Santa visits the hospital

As the big day draws closer, Santa sightings are now more commonplace and at the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital it was no exception. Santa made his way through the corridors and clinics handing out gifts to all in sight.

Santa truly brightened the day for patients and staff at the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.

Santa’s first stop on the hospital tour was the new Outpatients Department where patients and hospital staff were surprised to see Santa, with a trolley full of sweets and 3 beautiful Santa’s helpers in tow. Santa bellowed a Ho Ho Ho during his quick jaunt around the Children’s Clinic, where the amazed children gratefully accepted gifts from Santa.

As this is the season to be jolly even the hospital’s director, Dr. Pichit Kangwolkij received a visit from Santa, who wished him and his family a Merry Christmas.

After visiting more staff at the hospital, Santa gave out more gifts and Christmas cheer in the hospital’s wards before flying back to the North Pole to finish of his preparations for Christmas Day.

Amari Orchid Resort hosts the children from Pattaya for Lunch

’Tis the season’ for good will, and with many of Pattaya’s businesses getting into the festive spirit, the Amari Orchid Resort hosted lunch for the Pattaya Orphanage as part of their season activities.

“Oh give me a home ... where the buffalo roam ... and the skies are not cloudy all day”

The children were treated to breakfast, following which most of the children and a few of the staff members worked up their appetite for lunch by splashing around in the hotel’s pool. Others took up a more sedate pastime in the Amari’s playground, complete with giant chess board, swings and slides, while still others just laid back and took more of a back seat to the action.

That’s right, we’re cool

Everyone, including the hotel staff enjoyed the orphanage children’s visit to the Amari Orchid. Be sure to watch for the feature story on the Pattaya Mail Channel in the near future.
