Stig Sundin, a long time Pattaya resident, celebrated his 60th birthday at the Captain’s Corner Pool Terrace. The event also included a celebration of Stig and Jing’s engagement. Stig and Jing (center) were presented engagement rings by Kannikar and Ib Ottesen, owners of the Captain’s Corner.


Preeraphon Tritossavit, deputy director general of the Department of Local Administration, recently chaired a seminar at the Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel.


Jean Hoefman from France recently enjoyed his 32nd vacation at the Amari Orchid Resort, and was of course recognized by GM Michael Vogt and asst FO manager Rassamee. The Orchid will have the privilege of welcoming Mr. Jean again later this year.


Deputy Interior Minister Sorraat Klimpratum accepted, on behalf of the villagers of Baan Song in Chatchoengsao Province, Ripley’s Certificate of Recognition from Somporn Naksuetrong, general manager of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum (Thailand) for making Thailand’s largest pair of women’s slippers.
