AUA would like to thank the
local community of Pattaya for their wonderful response to the opening
of our new school in the Pattaya Bazaar. In less than two months
of operation, AUA have already had over three hundred and twenty
students register for English language courses. To accommodate the many
inquiries for daytime classes, AUA are running three (three week)
Summer Courses. These courses are scheduled to run their next course
from March 25 - April 11. The cost of each 30 hour program is

The German Thai Chamber of Commerce’s next
‘Stammtisch’ is now on Friday, March 15, at Henry J

The Australian Thai Chamber of Commerce will
hold another Seaboard Sundowners sponsored by Technology
Training Co., Ltd./Swinburne Tummasiri - LCSE, on Friday, 15th March,
6.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. at the Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa.
The Seaboard Sundowners is an opportunity for members and guests of
AustCham Thailand to meet, network and exchange views in the social,
casual environment. There is also a Volunteer English Teaching Program
at Ban Khao Huai Mahad School, Ban Chang, Rayong on Saturday March 16.
The Chamber will provide transport to and from the school. Teaching

Annual Miss St. Patrick’s Day, the

Renoir’s Restaurant in the Flamingo Hotel,
Soi Day Night 2, will have a very special “One-Man-Show” &
Dinner on the 23 rd

two separate evenings: on Saturday it will be for an English-speaking
audience, and on Sunday it will be performed in Dutch (NL). Apart from a
very special 4-course gourmet style dinner, there will be a show during
the dinner titled “Letter from Vincent”, where Vincent van Gogh, in
his own words, talks about his brother Theo, the women he loved and his
mental illness. He speaks of his drawings and paintings and above all,
his search for happiness. Slides of his drawings and paintings will be
projected; the play is further enhanced with music from Wagner,
Beethoven, Berlioz and Grieg. This show has attracted great appreciation
around the world and is now, for a very limited time, in Pattaya.
