Clubs

The Rotary Club of Taksin Pattaya now meets every Thursday at the Dusit Resort Pattaya at 7 p.m. Call President Peter Thorand on 038 713 349.

The Queen Vic Pub (Soi Yodsak 6) has at present 4 ex-paras, 1 ex-Legionair, 1 ex-Coldstream Guard, 1 ex-Life Guard, 1 ex-US Navy, 1 ex-Royal Navy and 1 ex-Traffic Warden all staying in the pub, plus many past and serving members who pop in for a drink. Free Stroke Seminar! The Bangkok Pattaya Hospital is running another free health seminar on Saturday morning 11th May to show you just how to predict that a stroke is coming on and even more importantly, how to avoid that stroke. It will also cover rehabilitation following a stroke. The seminar will be run by Dr. Niyom Pisitpipattana and Dr. Sukjai Darunaitorn and will be in English.
