Jessie’s Deli hits one year
By Miss Terry Diner
A week in politics is said to be a long time, but a
year in the restaurant business is almost eternity. In a city like Pattaya
which has hundreds of restaurants, it is amazing that there are not more
just called “The Phoenix” since many have arisen from the ashes of a
previous restaurant endeavour.

he has.
Tucked away down near Cozy Beach is the diminutive
Jessie’s Deli, a “no frills” little restaurant and sandwich bar that
has managed to carve out its own little niche for the hungry Pattaya folk.
To celebrate this momentous anniversary, the owners Simon Fletcher and his
brother Gareth put on a party, complete with entertainment from the female
impersonators from the Star-Treff cabaret in Jomtien. From all the reports
on the night, the party was as successful as Jessie’s Deli has been over
the past 12 months, and we look forward to the next anniversary, Jessie!
