,
proud parents Suwan and Rani Sakgiraphong, owners of “Taj Mahal
Tailor” on Pattaya Second Road, held the first birthday party for their
daughter, Natalie, at Pattaya’s Grand Sole Hotel.
The party was attended by close friends and honored
guests, including Natalie’s grandfather, Amrik Singh Kalra, the
patriarch of Pattaya’s Sikh community, Pratheep (Peter) Singh Malhotra,
managing director of Pattaya Mail, and numerous other guests were all
there to wish Natalie a very happy first birthday and much happiness in
the future.
For the party, Natalie’s family arranged a happy
court for the children and the kids all squealed in delighted when Bozo
the Clown made an appearance. Clever handy work such as making animals
from balloons and tattoo painting were also big hits. There were plenty of
party games such as musical chairs and step-on-the-balloons. Older guests
were treated to music and dancing, to their great delight.
The highlight of the evening came for young Natalie
when her great-grandmother, Jawant Kaur Kalra joined in the celebrations
to cut a magnificent birthday cake. Then the cake was served and everyone
joined in a chorus of “Happy Birthday”. It was the grand finale to a
wonderful 1st birthday party and no one enjoyed the evening more than
Natalie.
