Old friends meet again at ISR reunion party

by Tony Malhotra

Great fun and a commemorative moment among friends who had spent quality time together in the boarding and day school of ISR (now called The Regent’s School), was planned and arranged by a couple of alumni who had put their utmost effort to make this event a thriving one.

MC for the night: Tony and Pam, who welcomed and introduced the night’s program.

The ISR reunion party was held on Saturday July 13 at the Novotel Hotel, Siam Square. It is the first time that all of this group of students who have graduated from ISR since 1998 were brought together for a casual party.

Tickets were sold at the entrance and 130 people showed up, as quite a number of people are still overseas continuing their education.

King and Queen of the night went to Ake and Chuam.

The evening started off with an introduction and welcome speeches by the Alumni ’98, Pam in Thai and Tony Malhotra in English, followed by a power-point presentation of photographs taken of the young Alumni while they were at school. A delicious dinner was served along the poolside and games were played after that.

An election for the president of the ISR Alumni and the class president was chosen in which Natthapoj, known as ‘Pock Pack’ was elected for the year 2002-2004. King and queen for the night were Duriya fondly called ‘Ake’ and Prapaipan known as ‘Chuam’.

Class photographs were then taken and the evening was concluded with music and dances.
