City wants insufficient tap water and flooding problems solved quickly
Complaints from foreign tourists add to city’s woes
Water! Water! Some residents have too much and others don’t have enough. Pattaya’s serious flooding problems and areas which still lack adequate tap water were the topics of a recent meeting held at city hall and chaired by Chonburi Deputy Governor Preecha Kamolbutr. The meeting was attended by personnel assigned to address these pressing issues.

Bangkok Pattaya Hospital receives special gifts from the Pattaya Mail for their 12th anniversary
The Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, now in its twelfth year of operation, received a special gift from the offices of the Pattaya Mail Publishing Company. Two hundred copies of the Pattaya Mail Dining Out guide were handed over to the hospital’s International Department to be placed in hospital rooms.

Pattaya City wins with sport
The boys and girls teams from Wat Yarn took home the top prizes in the recently held Pattaya Healthy Beach Volleyball competition on Jomtien Beach.
Twenty teams participated in the competition, all made up of under 18-year-old boys and girls. The competition ran for two days, beginning on August 2 and ending on August 3.
