Lorne H. Hare, rest in
peace friend
We are sorry to announce that Lorne
passed away suddenly while visiting his family in Canada earlier this
month.
A Canadian who had made his home in Pattaya after
living and working for a long time in Indonesia, he will be truly missed
by his many friends around the town.
A long time member of the Pattaya Sports Club
Computer Club he had just recently accepted a post on the PSC committee
and was working on their web site. It is perhaps for his knowledge of
computers and his willingness to share that knowledge that he will be
most missed. A lot of people in Pattaya may now be wondering who to call
about their computer. Lorne gave generously of his time and experience
so that many of us could more enjoy the computers we used.
As one friend put it on hearing of his death, “But
he was one of the good guys...” and I think this sums up the feelings
of all of us who have met and enjoyed the company of Lorne over the
years.
Gone but certainly not forgotten.
