Loyal citizens make merit to honour and
celebrate our beloved King’s Birthday
Numerous functions held in the district to mark this auspicious occassion
On Friday morning,
over 1,000 residents, students, business people and government officers paid
their respects to HM the King on the occasion of his 76th birthday. At 7 a.m. in
front of the Banglamung district office, Surapol Tiensuwan Banglamung District
chief led the proceedings including merit making as 76 monks conducted prayers
and religious ceremonies to honor the nation’s beloved father.

Pattaya’s Walking Street is the Diamond Arcade, also known as Soi Diamond, in
which the Diamond Beach Hotel is located celebrated. The hotel marked their 25th
anniversary in grand style with a jubilant party that spilled out onto Walking
Street. Senior management welcomed guests, dignitaries and members of the
community to the celebrations.
