Clubs

The Pattaya International Ladies Club will host their next get together for “Coffee” at the Alkemy Restaurant (Nova Park) on Tuesday March 16, at 10.30 a.m. The address: Nova Park, 80/164, Moo 9, Soi Sukrudee. Tel: 038 415 304-8.

Pattaya City Expats Club meets on Sunday mornings at Henry J Beans Restaurant and Pub at the Amari Orchid Resort at the north end of Beach Road from 9:30-10:30 a.m. for buffet breakfast, and from 10:30-12:30 for entertaining speakers and open forum. Everyone welcome.

Tango with Mango, new steps to enjoy the yellow fruit - the sunny season isn’t complete without mango, the delicious golden tropical fruit. The executive chef at Dusit Resort Pattaya Hotel, Peter Held, with his joyous ideas, prepares a parade of mango menus for you. Some of the highlights are mango jelly on fresh hydroponic greens and seared peppered tuna fillet; chilled mango soup with young ginger and mint; poached snow fish fillet on mango tarragon sauce; roasted pork tender loin with mango salsa and rocket lettuce; saut้ed sliced veal in mango sauce with bulgur fritters and sugar peas and much more. Shenanigans the Irish Pub has increased its Monday Specials to start at 12 midday on both Monday and Tuesday. Monday there is a three-course menu, with two choices for each course for 199 baht. The ‘Food for Thought’ program will start its first course ‘Food for Life’ at 10 a.m. on Wednesday March 17 at the Art Cafe. This is a hands-on and realistic approach to healthy eating, dealing with all styles of food including vegetarian and “minimal meat cookery”.
