Preparations underway for 25th
Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree

Sutham Phanthusak, International Commissioner of the National
Scout Organization of Thailand, shows H.M. King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden the

their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand. The Swedish Royal couple was in
Thailand in February this year to thank the Thai people for their kindness and
assistance to the Swedish victims of the tsunami tragedy.
King Carl XVI Gustaf is the Honorary President of the World
Scout Foundation. Looking on is Dr. Eberhard Von Koerber, Chairman of the World

Rome on April 22, 2005. Preparations are well underway for the 25th Asia-Pacific
Regional Scout Jamboree to be held in Sattahip from December 28 until January 3,
2006. Sutham Phanthusak has been appointed Jamboree Camp Chief.

Delayed bus service might run in June
Plans
to provide a microbus service in January never materialised, owing to reported
problems with bus stop authorisation. A second proposed start-up date of March
18 also came and went without any sighting of a bus, allegedly because that date
fell within the period of the Pattaya International Music Festival 2005.

Mr. Bobby Brooks, who is also the MD of the Pattaya Hill Resort and Spa,
presents the Mayor with special gift, Hawaiian Coffee. Mr. Brooks will
invite 2 or 3 major motor sports sanctioning bodies over the next 6 months
to preview the current motor sports facilities to see if the feasibility
exists to bring such a major event like Champ CarTM(CART)

Japan and the USA.

British Club retain the Chris Kays Memorial Tournament Cup

A rugby packed weekend of was held at the Horseshoe Point
Country Club, the home ground of the Pattaya Panthers and Panties. The
tournament defending champions, the British Club from Bangkok came down with
and impressive side, previous winners Thai Barbarians led by Jock Tiernan
and The Southerners both wanting to regain the cup had large, limber squads.
