EU ambassadors visit Northern camp for Burmese refugees

On May 3 and 4, the Austrian Embassy organized a visit for the ambassadors of all the member states of the European Union to Baan Kwai Nai Soi refugee camp, located in Mae Hong Son close to the border between Thailand and Burma.

Regents look to go “Green”

Last week was the Round Square “Green Week” at The Regents School, Pattaya. Environmental awareness is the third Pillar of the Round Square IDEALS and every year both the Secondary and Primary RS Councils look to promote environmental awareness throughout the school. This year “Green Week” took place from the 22nd – 25th May and involved the coordination of the Green Committee lead by Gaby (Year 12 IB student) as the Environmental Pillar Leader for this academic year.

Inaugural Downhill - Downtown Mountain Bike event kick starts in Pattaya this June

The first of its kind mountain bike race will take place in Pattaya this June. The Pattaya Mountain Bike Downtown 2006 is being organized by the Thailand Cycling Alliance Group (TCA GROUP) and will feature both off and on-road racing.
