Big kids have a Jesters Harley Day
Sixteen excited older kids from
the Fountain of Life Center took exhilarating rides on the big Harleys of
Jesters Woody, Wild Bill, Big Ron Amero and Paul Shortino, to the FOL ‘Tooth
Fairy’, Ingrid Cunliffe’s house and garden at Laurel Park near Horseshoe Point
for a swim, playtime in the garden on the trampoline and a super lunch.

Decision on two-way traffic system due on August 2
A decision on whether or not to make Pattaya Second Road a two-way system is
expected to be made on August 2.
The Traffic and Transport Research Center of Phra Chomklao University in
Thonburi provided an update on their study of Pattaya’s traffic system at
Pattaya District Office on July 19. The study is being undertaken to find a
remedy for the city’s traffic woes. The center says that amongst the possible
permutations, making only Second Road a two-way system will cause the least
problems to the city’s traffic.

Charity Club of Pattaya celebrates 2nd Birthday
Since the formation of the Charity Club 2 years, ago the Charity Club of
Pattaya has become a household name.
Malcolm and Christina Boden, along with Vic and Jane King from the Queen
Victoria Inn, organise functions throughout the year with all the proceeds
going to various charities. To date they have raised 1,159,505 baht.

Bread and baht busses at Skål International
The local Skål International of Pattaya and East Thailand held a
cocktail party at the Hard Rock Hotel last week. This could almost have
been a practice run for the welcoming cocktails which will be held next
month for the world Skål International president Jan Sunde of Norway,
who will be visiting Pattaya to ensure that everything will be running
smoothly for the Skål World Congress in October this year, where Pattaya
is the host city.
