(Right) Somsak Tanruengsri, (3rd right) GM Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa, and his management team welcomes renowned American jazz artist Kenny G who was in town to perform at the Jazz Royale Festival, which was held recently to honour His Majesty the King on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his accession to the thrown.


Former Chonburi MP Chanyut Hengtrakul and MD of Sophon Cable TV was guest of honour at the wedding reception of Sukontha Phuthanakul and Nawapat Chalermwat held at the Gulf Siam Hotel & Resort recently. He wished the newly weds many years of marital bliss.

Albert F. Brandel, (3rd left), Second Vice President of Lions Clubs International, recently inspected the multi award-winning Royal Cliff Beach Resort and the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH), the proposed venues for the Lions District Governors-Elect Seminar scheduled to be held in June 2008. He was accompanied by his wife Dr. Maureen Murphy, (centre) Capt. Kajit Habanananda, (2nd right), Past International President of the International Association of Lions Clubs, and members of the site inspection committee, who were welcomed by Managing Director Panga Vathanakul (2nd left) and other executives of the Resort and PEACH.


Nigel Cornick, (2nd left) CEO of Raimon Land, accompanied by Natalie Glebova, (right) Miss Universe 2005 officially kicked off the King Power Raceboard World Championship 2006 on November 18th, to coincide with the launch of the Northpoint project on Wong Amat beach in Pattaya. The Raceboard event was followed a few days later by the AOT Kona Windsurfing World Championship, which also took place off the Northpoint site. On hand to witness the event were popular Thai singer Pam Lalita Tavedikul (left) and Teerus Boon-long (2nd right).
