Pythons prey on poultry and pets

It was a busy week for snake catchers in Pattaya and in Sattahip, as pythons were out on the prowl looking for prey. In two separate incidents, hungry pythons were responsible for devouring some chickens and also for a missing cat.

Brother saves his 3-year-old sister from drowning

A three-year-old girl playing in the sea at Jomtien Beach almost drowned when she was overwhelmed by waves, but was saved by her 11-year-old brother.
Officers from Pattaya Police Station went to Banglamung Hospital after medical staff reported the near tragedy, and found the little girl, Chokchutima Paewkasem, asleep in an exhausted state. However, she was safe.

Totally Over You

I have been fortunate enough over the past few years to have performed in a great many thrilling theatre performances and to have witnessed many more. The recent production of “Totally Over You” was the latest in a long line of stupendous performances at Garden International School, which had the audience captivated and yearning for more.
The play, by Mark Ravenhill, is filled with laughter, gloom, music and I dare say, pizzazz, when three rather silly girls dump their boyfriends in the vain hope that they will soon become celebrities.

‘Top of the class’ for the 2007 TOG Regatta: The best so far!

It has been an exhilarating four days of yacht racing out off the Ocean Marina Yacht Club in Jomtien for the Third Top of the Gulf (TOG) annual Regatta which started with registration on Thursday, 03 May, and continued through to Monday, 07 May.
