Chonburi Governor warns of water shortages
Chonburi Governor Pracha Taerat is urging the speedy construction of the new
Klong Luang Reservoir, saying that although water supplies in the province are
plentiful there is a lack of storage capacity for consumer supplies that could
quickly become serious.
Governor Pracha Taerat said that while irrigation water can be obtained from
various sources, the demand for tap water is growing and storage facilities are
limited. Bangpra Reservoir, the only storage area for tap water, can hold only
100 million cubic meters of water.

Lions’ ping pong contest
a roaring success
My House Stiga Club in good form won the men’s team championship fixed
category at the Lion Youth Ping Pong Competition on May 7.
Two Lions clubs, Pattaya Lions and Naklua Lions, along with the Chonburi
Province Table Tennis Club staged the contest over the period May 5 to 7 at
Pattaya School No 2.
