Charity Club celebrates
its 4th birthday

The Charity Club of Pattaya celebrated its fourth birthday at the Jomtien Boathouse on July 1, having been founded by Malcolm and Christina Boden on July 1, 2004.
Today, the club is run by Malcolm and Christina Boden, Kevin Fisher of Cranes and Equipment Asia, and Vic King, owner of the Queen Victoria Inn on Soi 6, who is treasurer.

A company that specializes in cleaning tall buildings by using abseiling techniques developed in mountain climbing has been contracted to clean the windows of Pattaya’s highest building, the 55-story Pattaya Park Tower.

Redemptorist Vocational School opened its 21st Sports and Games on June 26, with Mayor Itthipol Khunplome performing the official opening ceremony and Father Lawrence Patin, head of the Father Ray Foundation and of the Redemptorist Center in Pattaya acting as host.

The U.S. Navy recently hosted a reception aboard the USS Jarrett based in Sattahip during the CARAT exercises 2008. The United States Navy League in turn hosted a reception for the Officers and Crew at the Marriott Resort and Spa Pattaya. Awards and plaques were exchanged at the event.
