On Wednesday January 7, Chris Hill visited Koh Pai Early Learning

to make a presentation of 3,000 euros from the Ambassador’s Club of Antwerp,
Belgium.
Chris Hill is the founder of Help Line Pattaya and ran this successfully for
six years before returning to Europe for health reasons. Help Line Children
is a continuation of Help Line Pattaya and focuses on the needs of
underprivileged children, and raises funds for organisations dedicated to
this same goal.
The money was raised by Help Line Children together with the International
Ambassadors Club of Antwerp who organised a concert recital by the famous
Belgian pianist Francois Glorieux. The concert was held in Antwerp on
November 22 at the home of Ambassador Club President, Dr Philip Loquet, a
renowned gynaecologist. Dr Loquet and his wife tried to visit Pattaya to
make their own personal gifts on December 5 last year but were thwarted by
the PAD Suvarnabhumi siege. They have not given up, however, and will try
and visit at the end of the month.
This is the second gift by the Ambassadors Club to the Mercy Center, the
first being 2,000 euros donated one year ago. The presentation was made at
Koh Pai Early Learning Center which is one of the projects undertaken by the
Mercy Center.
The early learning center currently prepares around 69 children with
pre-school readiness skills starting from two to six years old. The children
are given the chance to learn Thai, English and maths skills from a very
early age. This is a true example of a solution for a need amongst the
underprivileged in Pattaya.

Little Duck Nursery celebrates another Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Ms. Sivanart Imtub, a
director at Little Duck Nursery, receives food from the children at
Little Duck Nursery in Rayong. The children said, “You Love, Feed and
Take care of us all year, today we want to feed you.” Rev Stephen
Brusini who started Little Duck Nursery along with Ms Imtub some eight
years ago said, “What a fine example of Love. We all should have that
kindness in our Hearts.”
Rev Stephen A. Brusini,
Sivanart Imtub and staff made this another memorable Christmas for the
babies at Little Duck Nursery in Rayong. “Sadly we didn’t have any
visitors for Christmas this year, but we did have love, food, fun,
happiness and presents for all of the 30+ babies. We thank all the
people who have brought donations of goods this past year. God bless you
for thinking of us. Our New Year wish is that we have a new facility and
more visitors for the babies,” said Rev Stephen.
