Raimon Land celebrates completion of The Heights Phuket

The Heights Phuket offers a choice of 2-3 bedroom
units ranging in size from 195 to 414sq.m.

Luxury property developer, Raimon Land, recently celebrated the completion and opening of its award-winning The Heights Phuket.
Construction of the exclusive 51 condominium units nestled atop a hillside overlooking Kata Beach was successfully completed on time and to all original specifications, with the project 100% owned by Raimon Land and officially registered with the Land Department and the Phuket Provincial Land Office.
With an overall value of THB 1,205 million, The Heights is now the only completed luxury project available in Phuket. The fast-selling project is 90% sold-out, with just five units available (both two and three bedroom units) with prices ranging between THB 21,365,373 and THB 41,413,840.
Raimon Land Chief Executive Officer, Hubert Viriot, pointed out that this was another outstanding achievement by the company as it continued to raise the bar in Thailand’s upscale property industry.
“The Heights provides an excellent example of the superb residences currently available through Raimon Land and I am certain this development will provide our owners with the long term value they expect from our company’s projects,” Viriot said.
The Heights, which won the Best Condo Development (Phuket) at the Thailand Property Awards 2008 and offers commanding views of Kata Bay, is designed to complement the site’s established lush garden environment and embraces pioneering technologies and systems to minimise carbon emissions.
Owners have been receiving welcome orientation kits from the Raimon Land Customer Relations team as they move into their units as well as assistance from the common area property management team, which is set up with CBRE in the Juristic Office.
An onsite sales office is open seven days a week to receive enquiries and is also available to conduct inspections and face-to-face discussions.

The development provides residents with open terraces, expansive living areas and the seamless spillover of indoor into outdoor spaces.

Thailand Property Awards 2009 are open

Nominations for the 2009 Thailand Property Awards are now open. The awards, now in their fourth year, assist in promoting the high level of quality of Thailand´s real estate, construction, architectural and interior design as well as industry professional services, and help put Thailand real estate on the world stage.
Nominations can be made by anyone – industry and the public. The only rule is that people cannot nominate the company they work for or own. Nominating a company does not mean that company will win an award, and nominating the same company many times does not mean they have a better chance to win. A single nomination for a company is enough, and that will mean the company will then go through to the entry stage.... if of course they are eligible.
“The eligibility rules are made clear to ensure all is transparent. These criteria will be strictly followed and applied by BDO Richfield Advisory Limited who will be supervising the awards and judging process again this year,” said Duncan Worthington, Managing Director of Ensign Media the organisers of the Thailand Property Awards.
Two new categories have been added this year: Best Villa Development Thailand, and Best Condo Development Thailand. These nationwide categories are distinctly different from the regional categories for Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Samui and Hua Hin. The regional categories are open to developments under-construction, whereas the two nationwide categories are open only to completed developments.
“This differentiation recognises the success of developments that have been completed while also recognising the innovation of newer developments currently under-construction,” added Worthington.
The award winners will be announced at a gala dinner on November 7, at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in Bangkok. The evening will start with a wine reception followed by a 4-course dinner and awards presentation. Last year the gala dinner was fully booked and some had to be turned away. Anyone wishing to attend is advised to book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings can be made now and are on a first-come-first-served basis.
“In addition to changes to the awards and eligibility criteria, we are planning to organise a seminar series during the day on 7th November. This will be open to all irrespective of whether you are attending the gala dinner or not. And in co-operation with the Lighthouse Club of Bangkok we plan to host a golf challenge on the 8th November, following the awards,” commented Worthington.
“Our long-term aim is for the awards to become part of an annual industry gathering with networking opportunities, business opportunities and more,” concluded Worthington.
Sponsors of the 2009 Thailand Property Awards include Gaggenau as a Co-Sponsor. Media Partners include i-Marketing, Luxury Properties magazine, Phuket Post newspaper, Property Report magazines, and REIDIN.com, with RICS Thailand as a supporting association. The judging is supervised by BDO Richfield Advisory Limited and the awards are organised by Ensign Media Co. Ltd.
