H.R.H Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was presented with a cheque for 1.4 million baht by Pierre Andre Pelletier, general manager of the Amari Watergate Hotel. The funds were part of the 2.8 million baht raised from the 11th Amari Watergate & BMW Group Thailand Midnight Run and the 12th Aerobic Marathon on Aids to support Chalerm Prakiat School in Lumpoon province. The other 1.8 million baht was donated to Baan Gerda Project in Lopburi province to support HIV infected orphans.


 

Dusit Thani Pattaya staff and management led by Pramot Sothana (far right), front office manager and Chainarong Pimsiri (back row, 2nd right), housekeeping manager were on hand to wish hotel guest David Eastham from England a happy birthday. The hotel brought a birthday cake and other presents to his room to celebrate the occasion with his wife as part of its gesture of appreciation and relations for all its guests and customers.

On Saturday June 20, Rene Pisters, (seated centre) general manager of the Thai Garden Resort, celebrated his birthday with family, many friends, and colleagues. Seen are his son Anthony and wife Ploy along with Gerrit Niehaus, (right) owner of the Thai Garden Resort, came to congratulate him and joined in the fun. After dinner, everyone had a good time at the Moon River Pub, where they danced the night away to the great music of the well known Power Jam Band.


On June 14, 2009, Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya, led by Laurent Levraud (center) gave a rockin’ welcome to the legendary rock band “Stone Metal Fire” in conjunction with the celebration of Hard Rock Cafe Founder’s Day. The first Hard Rock Cafe was opened in London on the same date in the year 1971..


Lieutenant General Jaraesuk Anuparp (sitting 3rd right) deputy director of policy and Planning Department, Internal Security Operations Command recently presided over the opening of the annual seminar to plan for the Kingdom’s security. Representatives from every ministry participated at the Marine Ballroom in the Jomtien Palm Beach.
