On the occasion of Thai Airways International’s 50th
Anniversary and Chinese New Year 2010, Krissada Napamorakot (center), THAI
general manager for Kunming in the People’s Republic of China presented
‘Best Selling Awards’ to agents in Kunming in categories of BSP (Bank
Settlement Plan) Agent, Travel Agent and Royal Orchid Holidays. The
presentation took place at the Yaowaraj Thai restaurant in Kunming.

Bangkok on the occasion of her appointment for a second term as president of
the Hotel PR Association of Thailand, voted by the association’s members at
the recent election held at Library Room, Dusit Thani Bangkok.
Members of the Eastern Seaboard Environment Complex
(ESBEC) and Waste Management Siam Ltd. community fund donated student
desks and chairs to 2 classrooms at Baan Khao Hin School. The donation
totaled 90 sets valued at 62,000 baht and was done to replace the old sets
which had fallen into disrepair.
Recently at the Montien Hotel Pattaya, a
get-together party was organized by Stanley Pao, the hotel’s 1985 general
manager. Over 60 former and present staff members were invited for a
delicious reunion dinner party. Presented in the party were Walter Kessler,
the former executive chef and Rene Pisters, who was an executive assistant
manager in charge of F&B in those days. It was a great party and fond
memories were exchanged about the good times in the past.
