The YWCA and Swiss Embassy Charity Bazaar will be held on May 28 from 2 - 6 p.m. at the Swiss Embassy compound in Bangkok.  Expositions and a fashion show will be held along with music performed by the Mauri Monti Trio.  Entrance fee is 1,600 baht with the proceeds going to “Le Sourire de Chiang Khong” - a home for street children and former child prostitutes in the north of Thailand.  Tickets are limited and can be reserved by calling Khun Nittaya Tel. 081 817 0397.

Clubs and Associations

For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the telephone.  The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate community.  English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the phone.  All calls will be handled on an anonymous basis and are free of charge.  Please call (02) 713-6791 (24hrs a day, 7 days a week).
