Rotary Public Image Coordinators from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Thailand held a training seminar on ‘Revitalizing & Strengthening Rotary’s Brand and Enhancing Public Image’ at the Dusit Thani Pattaya recently. The seminar was chaired by Past Rotary International Director Noraseth Pathmanand (seated centre) with training sessions conducted by Rotary Public Image Coordinators Pratheep S. Malhotra (seated 2nd right) and Dr Jason C.H. Yeung (seated 2nd left) from Zones 6B and 10B of Rotary International respectively. In attendance were (seated left & right) PP Onanong Siripornmanut (Thailand) and PP Amy Leung (Hong Kong). Standing l-r are PDG Thongchai Lortrakanon (Thailand), PDG Chow Nararidh (Thailand), PDG Ray Ching Chang (Taiwan), PDG Dr M Mosharraf Hossain (Bangladesh), PDG Dr Rajindar Singh (Malaysia), PDG Hung-Ming Chang (Taiwan), PP Satwat Butt (Pakistan) and special guest speaker Howard Posener.


M.R. Kitiwattana Pokmontri (centre) was guest of honour at opening ceremony of the ‘Hong Kong Food Festival 2012’ at Heichinrou Restaurant at the Amari Watergate Bangkok recently. Others attending included (l-r) Chong Yuen Ming, BBQ Chef, Dr Kritika Kongsompong, Nichaya Chaivisuth, the hotel’s Director of Communications & PR, Avasada Pokmontri, Pierre Andre Pelletier, the hotel’s GM, Srisupang Morris, Panitnart Yampeka and Lau Ful Hong the Dim Sum Chef.


Snooker legend Jimmy White (2nd right) was recently seen at the Nova Platinum Hotel where he was welcomed by Rony Fineman (2nd left), President of the Nova group, Thomas Fineman (right) and Sascha Kunze (left), the hotel manager.


Staff and guests of the Holiday Inn Pattaya proudly show off their medals that they received for their participation in the Pattaya King’s Cup Marathon recently. The word is that they all completed the quarter marathon in record time.


Waran Chalermrithichai (4th right), Director of Administration of the Dusit Thani Pattaya gives the thumbs up as his team of runners received their medals in appreciation for their participation in the Pattaya King’s Cup Marathon recently.


A team of reporters from the Thai PBS national television station and the Child Development Foundation led by secretary Wallop Tankananurak visited the Father Ray Foundation in Pattaya recently. They were welcomed by Supachai Satiansilapin and fruitful discussions were held on how to build up a network between local and national social workers and the media in helping homeless children attain equality and opportunities in Thai society.


On the 23rd of July, staff of the Pattaya Mail held a mini party in our offices to celebrate our 19th birthday. A handful of our dedicated and loyal staff gathered around Prince and Tony Malhotra to cut and partake in the colourful and delicious birthday cakes which were presented to us by the Hilton Pattaya and Amari Orchid Hotels.
