Authorities are investigating how a boat moored offshore caught fire in Pattaya Bay.
It took firefighters about an hour to extinguish the flames that engulfed the Phomanee 3 April 18.
The challenge was actually catching the boat, which began to drift after fire burned through its anchor line. Wind and waves blew the burning boat into an area where other fishing boats were moored, sparking fears the blaze would spread.
No one was injured in the incident but the cause of the fire is under investigation.
