Possible heavy rain in parts of the lower northern region, lower northeastern region, central region, including Bangkok and its vicinity, as well as the eastern and southern regions.

The Meteorological Department of Thailand has issued a weather forecast for the next 24 hours, warning of increased rainfall across the country, with heavy downpours expected in some areas. The northern and upper northeastern regions will be particularly affected as the monsoon trough shifts downward, stretching across these areas and into a low-pressure system over the central South China Sea. This situation, combined with moderate southwest monsoon winds over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand, will lead to more widespread rainfall.

Residents in affected areas are advised to be vigilant for heavy rainfall and accumulated precipitation, which may cause flash floods and rapid water runoff.

Upper Andaman Sea: Moderate winds with waves reaching about 2 meters in height. In stormy areas, waves may exceed 2 meters.

Lower Andaman Sea and Upper Gulf of Thailand: Waves ranging from 1 to 2 meters, with heights surpassing 2 meters during thunderstorms.

Seafarers in these areas should exercise caution and avoid sailing in regions experiencing thunderstorms.
