Shortly after midnight on walking street on the 15th of March, police along with a commander from the Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Division and officers from the Freeland Foundation arrested two thai women.
The women were found carrying an endangered species: the slow loris.
Both the suspects confessed to parading slow lorises for tourists to take pictures, for 100 baht per photo, they stated that they had bought them from a mutual friend.
After a detailed interrogation, the officers transferred the women to the investigation department at the Patatya police station and in the meantime the animals have been sent to the Banglamung Wildlife Breeding Center
