I don’t know whether high season has already finished or we just got lucky at Emerald Golf Course for our weekly game with the Backyard Golf Society. As per usual we turned up a little bit early and were very surprised to see that we had a clear golf course in front of us.
Of the ten players, nine were in all the competitions so, after welcoming Tony back for his second game, we teed off and finished just over 4 hours later.
‘Broken Wing’ celebrates his success at Mama’s Bar.
‘Broken Wing’ took the game, with a paltry 33 points, on count-back from Alan B. John Mac took nearest the pin prize and the skins results were as follows: Broken Wing (7), John Mac (3), JJ (3), Geoff (2). Alan B (2) and Bob G (1).
After prize giving we all wandered down to Mama’s Bar in Ban Chang and to our surprise Tip had blessed her recent renovations so free food and bell ringing was the order of the day!
