Re: Pattaya goes to war against mosquitoes (PM Friday, 06 April 2012). What a joke. If I had Bt1 for every time I phoned Pattaya City Hall about the mosquito breeding ground at the two abandoned buildings at the old bankrupted mega market development on Beach Rd Jomtien that houses an eternal tribe of mosquitoes (and fish) in the basement I’d be rich. Not once in three years did anyone come down and inspect / act. The same place where the deck chair vendors got City Hall to remove all of the beach front public seating for more than 2km because it was taking their business away. Just a show job for the media.
