Scuba divers found themselves with an unwelcome dive buddy when two three-meter sea crocodiles took up hunting around the islands off Samae San.

Royal Thai Navy divers captured one of the man-eating reptiles June 3 off Koh Chuang. It was taken to the Sea Turtle Conservation Center in Sattahip where it will be prepared for relocation.

The croc-hunt began June 1 after reports from divers off Koh Chuang, Koh Chan and Koh Samae San of two large reptiles roaming the area. Navy SEALS Capt. Aapaporn Yuukhongkaew led the crew that finally tracked down the animal.

The search continues for the other crocodile.
