Art was 10 years old when he was hit by a car, paralyzing him from the neck down. Now he is 20 and his mother, a single parent, works from home doing laundry. She earns around 10,000 baht monthly, but most of it goes to oxygen, special food for a feed tube and pampers.

His new wheelchair allows Art to be able to sit upright, lying flat with multiple settings in between to thwart bed sores and making bathing easier. Furthermore, now he can join his mom on the porch in the fresh air while she does the ironing.

In the meantime Woody and his team from Jesters Care for Kids are busy working with potential sponsors and putting together their annual Children’s which is scheduled for Sunday the 4th of September and will be held at Regents International School.
