The Backyard Golf Society
It was another good turnout this week for the Backyard Golf Society at Emerald Golf Course. Ten players with nine in all competitions and it was good to see Andy Oz playing a full round after his illness last week!
For the second week in a row another player did not manage to complete the course, with this week’s honor going to Darren (alleged hip problem not Walking Street Syndrome).

After 2 years, Mike finally shed his label of being the only regular player not to win a Stableford competition. He demolished the field with a massive winning score of 43 points, with second place going to John Mac who beat Andy Oz on count back with a total of 34 points.
Kit won the nearest the pin prize and skin results were as follows: Andy Oz (7), Mike (5), John Mac (2), Martyn (2), Terry C (1) and Dan M (1).
Finally this week we wish Dan M all the best for his trip to the US and we will try to continue with the write ups and photos without him.
