Pattaya Public Health Department and Pattaya Elderly Club will host a talent show for women to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Club President Pranee Maneesarn led the July 1 planning meeting for the Mother’s Day event to take place Aug. 5.
The ‘Healthy Mother with a Great Mind’ contest will see eight women perform, showing off their skills in singing “klons” or lullabies. The winner will receive a sash and certificate.
The project was the brainchild of the Public Health Department which insisted that members of the Elderly Club partake in a variety of activities and use their spare time to practice. This will also be a great way to honor HM the Queen on the occasion of her Aug. 12 birthday.
