Lt. Gen. Somsak Rungsita, director of the Defense Ministry’s Office of Policy and Planning, announced details of the Asian Defense Ministers working group meeting with officials from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the Laotian Defense Ministry, and military doctors from Russia and Japan at the Grand Heritage Hotel.

The meetings heard the results of a three-year effort by a team of experts on relief approved by ASEAN. The schedule included determination of scope of the upcoming integrated training, and planning for all three stages of the exercise.

Exercise events involving about 2,000 people will be held at the 14th Military Circle, U-Tapao-Rayong-Pattaya Airport and Koh Sichang.
