A Nongprue woman took to social media to refute charges she helped her boyfriend defraud his mother of 1.2 million baht.

Sirikan Sirisitthidamrongkit, a shopkeeper in Ayutthaya, filed a police report that her son, Rapeepat, had stolen 1.2 million baht of her cash and given it to the Pattaya-area internet video deejay.

“VJ Four” Suaymaisrang denied charges she helped her boyfriend defraud his mother of 1.2 million baht, although she did admit the man routinely sent her money – 50,000 baht at a time – but insists it was a gift she never asked for.

Rapeepat told the media that “VJ Four” Suaymaisrang had nothing to do with the issue. But he apologized to his mother, who withdrew her police complaint on a pledge he wouldn’t see the woman again.

The couple had spent the night at his mother’s house and met the family. The net idol contended the mother welcomed her warmly, until the next morning when the lovebirds and the cash disappeared.

The VJ and her sister, Tanchanok Jeethongdaeng, broadcast live on the internet from Nongprue July 20 to reiterate she was not involved in the mess.

She said Rapeepat and her had met online and chatted until they formed a relationship. She denied social media allegations she had demanded cash from her beau to buy a car and said she never asked him for cash.

She did admit, however, that Rapeepat routinely sent her money – 50,000 baht at a time – but insists it was a gift she never asked for.
