Deputy Bangkok Governor Pusadee Tamthai chaired the inauguration of the program which will serve as another channel assisting authorities in combating drugs. Participants will be trained in methods of detecting suspicious objects and memorizing the features of perpetrators in order to serve as reliable informants.

Over 2,000 motorcycle taxis will participate in the program. All participants must first pass a urine drug test, while those tested positive will be put into the government’s rehabilitation program.
